Excavator add-on Auger Drives
The auger drive replaces the bucket or grab mounted on hydraulic excavators and uses the machines hydraulic system to control auger rotation. They are available in a variety of sizes.
A choice of five versions of the auger drive is available to make optimum use of the excavator.
Applications for the auger drives include the drilling of:
- Test bores
- Wells
- Injection and site soil improvement holes
- Foundations using the continuous flight auger (CFA) technique
- Retaining walls and pre-boring for sheet piling

Rotary Heads
The Geminus 3500 twin drilling drive has been specially developed for soil mixing. Two contra-rotating tools guarantee the most thorough mixing possible.
The internal high-pressure tube has a constant cross-section from the rotary head right down to the mixing tool which guarantees low-maintenance operation at working pressures up to 150 bar.
The distance between the two drives can be adjusted mechanically to suit site requirements giving the drilling system the flexibility to tackle discontinuous, continuous and secant piles.
A two-speed valve integrated into the power hydraulics and controlled electrically from the operators cab allows speed and torque to be adjusted for any operating conditions.
Concrete Mill / Rotary Head
Two in one: concrete mill and rotary head
The concrete mill is designed for trimming pile heads, secant walls or any other application where concrete needs re-shaping.
A major advantage of the system is that the mill head can be removed and with the addition of a cardan joint the powerful rotary head can be used for drilling applications.
