Horizontal Drilling
CF-augers are designed for a variety of torques with hex couplings from 29 to 100mm.
Non-standard diameters, usable lengths, flight-pitch and flight-thickness are available on request.
Our HS series augers are for horizontal drilling applications and noted for their clear design, solid construction and optimum diameter to pitch ratio, for best spoil clearance.
The base tube of these augers is equipped with a continuous hexagonal core.
Coldrawn hex-bar tool joints are inserted into the auger and secured with a bolt and self locking nut.
Prices for CF-augers include all connecting elements.
Drill Heads for Horizontal Drilling
Drill head type HD
Our HD series drill heads with extended pilots are used to clear soil and debris from inside of casing tubes.
These drill heads are manufactured with the teeth forming part of the cutting edges. Pilot and teeth with hard-facing.
Specials are available to customers request.
Drill head type RD
Our RD series drill heads with hinged outer cutting teeth are especially designed to under ream casing tubes whilst inside the tube the drill head cuts only the inner-diameter of the casing.
When drilling ahead of the tube, the outer cutting elements extend and underream the casing tubes, thus clearing the path for the tubes to advance further.
